MINISTRIES
There can be no salvation without Gospel; a dispensation of mercy and grace from God alone; for the obedient heart only. None can effectually preach this unless he have a divine mission, “for how shall they preach except they be SENT.” The matter of gospel must come from God only and the person who proclaims it must have both authority and unction from on high. This divinely- commissioned person must be heard, though it is the duty of all to whom this message of salvation is sent to hear it with the deepest reverence and attention.
Pastoral and Evangelism purpose is to draw people to God through the message from God, to make people aware of God’s love and to teach and practice love
The purpose of this ministry is to spread the gospel to as well as attend to the needs of the people of the community who are in need of love, hope and encouragement. To let them know that God loves them and that H.O.G is here to support them in every area of their life. The mission of this ministry is to remind people that God’s love know no boundary, has no judgment and can surpass any situation. This is done through charitable giving and the provision of free programs.
The purpose of Women of Grace and Gospel ministry is to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of women at H.O.G those within our community and beyond. This ministry is designed to encourage women to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and connect in faith with other women and to provide opportunities to serve and reach our communities.
The mission of this ministry was founded on the principles outlined in 1 Corinthians 12:12 “the body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts, and though all its parts are many, they form one body, so it is with Christ.” Our belief is that as women of Christ, we have an obligation to love each other as Christ loves us and to be our sister’s care taker.
As part of the women ministry; there is group entitled Women Mentoring Women led by Pastors Olubunmi Adebayo & Eintou Rogers. The purpose of the group is to counsel women of domestic violence abuse and single mother as well as assist them in gaining access to City and State wide services. The W.O.G.G is responsible for the annual women’s conference that address issues affecting women of all walks of life.
Men’s Ministry at House of Grace is a ministry where mentoring becomes a subject and a lifestyle. It is a ministry where the younger ones are mentored by an elder or older man. Mentoring is the key of maturity; it is difficult to grow without a mentor.
Many young men do not have a father living with them, some that do have their father’s living with them are not interestingly involve with them or their activities, and this makes these young men becomes vulnerable and exposed to violent and gangs.
H.O.G Men Ministry’s focus is to fill in this gap by educating these young men with the word of God and share experiences with them. These are few of some of the things expected in men ministry: financial support and scholarship, biblical teaching and mentoring and helping young men find their gifts, talents and build them up.
The purpose of the youth ministry is to allow our young people to explore what Christianity means to them and to help them forge a strong bond with God; a relationship that they will honor throughout their lives. At H.O.G we believe that without a bond with the God our lives are both aimless and meaningless. The youth ministry explores many aspects of Christianity and its relevance in today’s society. We do this through fun and exciting activities as well as intense training and discussion.
